I did three jars of Red Bell Peppers in Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Therefore, I had a a big amount of olive oil left from the jars after eating the red bell peppers.
What I did with the olive oil??
First, I wet a lot of bread......Yes.....very simple, but very tasty....just a simple bread with that olive oil and sea salt on top......very good!!
Second, I sautee shrimps, broccoli, and tomatoes for a pasta dish. In addition, I used the olive oil to coat the pasta.
Pasta with Shrimps, Broccoli, Tomatoes in Extra Virgin Olive Oil (from the Red Bell Peppers)
350 grams of your favourite pasta (I make my own pasta)
1 broccoli cut in pieces
150 grams of Shrimps (more or less depending on your taste)
2 tomatoes (peeled and sliced in pieces)
Salt and Pepper
Extra Virgin Olive Oil (from the Red Bell Peppers)
In a pot, boil water to cook your favourite pasta. In a pan, put Extra Virgin Olive Oil (from the Red Bell Peppers) and stir fry the broccoli. Let it simmer for 3 minutes, and add the tomatoes. Taste for salt, and let it cook at low heat for 5 minutes or until the broccoli is cooked, but not over cooked. In another pan, put Extra Virgin Olive Oil (from the Red Bell Peppers) and stir fry shrimps.
When the pasta is "al dente", strain it and coat it with Extra Virgin Olive Oil (from the Red Bell Peppers). Mix it with the shrimps, broccoli and tomatoes. Adjust for salt and pepper. Decorate it with a basil leave.
Third, I did "Garlic Prawns".....yes.....very simple.....with all the garlic from the red bell peppers.....I will not write the recipe because you are experts and have your own recipe......However, I will let you to enjoy the pictures.....
